“23:59”, meaning “one minute from present to the future. It demonstrates mixed feelings of everything illustrated in a series of vigorous pop-art style of artworks. “23:59” features 20 primary artworks and a mini Passport Collection.

 
 
 

23:59 | THE PASSPORT COLLECTION

 

As part of the “23:59”, The Passport Collection consists of nine individual artworks labelled in nine different locations. Each of these portrays a female model wearing a white t-shirt featuring different “23:59” artworks.

”’23:59’ is an idea I came up while I was on my flight to London from Germany. 23:59 means one minute before a new chapter. It is a moment that brings me mixed feelings, either excited or nervous, you can’t predict the future even it is just a minute close to you. And ‘23:59’ captures my mixed feelings. Very distorted, complex, and random.”

 
 
 

“I’m always a big fan of pop art and contemporary art because you can swing between classic and modern with artworks and create something surreal and fun. I take inspirations from life, and transform it into something else.”
